The Museum of Humor and Satire has launched the new video series “Smiling Chronicles”, which brings the audience together with authors whose works are part of the Museum’s Digital Collection.
In seven short episodes, artists, friends and partners of the museum talk about the life, work and inspirations of some of the interesting names represented in the art fund.
The series is an invitation to all who want to peek behind the works and discover more of the wealth of the Museum of Humor and Satire.
In this episode, Ralitsa Dobreva, museum educator and librarian at the Museum of Humor and Satire, talks about one of the emblematic names of British cartooning, illustration and comics – Ronald Searle.
He is represented in the Art Fund of the Museum of Humor and Satire with 4 works that are included in the Digital Collection.
