Regarding the implementation of the project “The Address of Satire – Creating an Exhibition from the Fund of the Museum “House of Humor and Satire” – Gabrovo and an accompanying program on the role and boundaries of satire and its exhibition in the renovated spaces of the Museum,” funded under Program RA14 “Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage, and Cooperation,” co-financed by the EEA Grants 2014-2021 Financial Mechanism,
The Museum of Humor and Satire – Gabrovo is seeking a Public Relations Expert (with a focus on developing online audiences and creating online content).
The main goal of the position:
- Coordinate and execute activities related to publicity and information for the project “The Address of Satire”;
- Participate, jointly and under the direct supervision of the head of the Public Relations and Events department, in developing and implementing the museum’s information and communication policy, collaborate in educational activities, and advertise the museum store.
Areas of activity:
- Present project activities, museum educational programs, create and publish materials for exhibitions on the Museum’s website and social networks; advertise products created as part of the entrepreneurial plan;
- Participate in the development and implementation of museum educational programs;
- Participate in organizing public events, create photo, video, and textual documentation for them;
- Communicate with Regional Education Offices and schools to offer online educational programs;
- Develop the Museum’s website to reach a wider audience.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education with a degree in “Master” or “Bachelor” in professional fields such as “Humanities” or “Social, Economic, and Legal Sciences”;
- Computer literacy – MS Office, Internet; good knowledge and interest in digital marketing and new technologies;
- No conviction of intentional crimes of a general nature under Chapter V and VI, Section I of the Special Part of the Penal Code;
- Professional experience – 3 years in the relevant professional field; candidates with experience in developing online audiences, creating online content, organizing and conducting information events, communication campaigns, public relations, and media relations are preferred;
- Special skills and qualifications: language skills and skills for professional text development – very good in both Bulgarian and English (proved by a practical exam);

The selection of candidates for the announced position will be carried out in two stages: 1) selection based on documents and 2) practical exam and interview with the admitted candidates.
Candidates who have submitted documents proving compliance with the specified minimum requirements will be admitted to the second stage of the procedure.
Candidates admitted to the practical exam and interview will be informed of the date, place, and time of its conduct at their specified email/phone.
