“Creation of Space, Plan and Model for Digitization of Еxibits ​​and Archive”

With the project “Creation of Space, Plan and Model for Digitization of Еxibits ​​and Archive” under Contract No. VRKI-2022-103 / 12.07.2022, financed by the National Culture Fund under the Program for the Restoration and Development of State, Regional and Municipal Cultural Institutes, The Museum of Humor and Satire set itself the goal of аllocating space for the process.

The digitization of museum content is a process that requires research, borrowing of experience, adaptation, human resources, building partnerships, collaborations with the public and private sectors.

In this regard, the project implementation until 30.06.2024 includes the following activities: adaptation of a specific space in the Museum for practical activities related to the digitization process, visits to two foreign cultural institutes with the aim of exchanging experience, preparation of plan and model for integrating the digitization process, organizing training aimed at the museum team and young people, organizing a competition for students to curate a digital exhibition with works from the Museum’s collection, organization of meetings, workshops with colleagues in two directions – digitalization process and adaptation of museum activities to sustainable and green development, creation of publicly accessible online collections with good practices in both directions, photo documentation of the various stages in the overall process and organization of an exhibition in a city environment to be available online as well.
